The moment TwentyAgain became real.
TwentyAgain did not begin as a business idea.
It began with a personal story — one that started with stress, weight gain, unanswered questions, faith, frustration, and the realization that wellness is rarely one-size-fits-all.
This is the story behind the name.
This is Wellness That Fits™
It started with surgery.
In 2018, I was preparing for umbilical hernia surgery.
At the time, I weighed about 250 pounds, and my doctor wanted me to lose roughly 25 pounds before surgery so I could safely move forward.
I had been a collegiate athlete. I knew what hard work looked like. I was not afraid of discipline, effort, or consistency.
So I did what I thought I was supposed to do.
I cleaned up my diet.
I ate salmon and vegetables.
I trained at the gym.
I did cardio consistently.
I pushed through.
But instead of losing weight, the weight kept coming on.
I was going through the motions, but something deeper had not shifted yet.
When effort was not enough.
A year later, instead of being down 25 pounds, I had gained 137 pounds.
By December 2019, I arrived in Thailand weighing 387 pounds.
I was doing the work, but my body was not responding the way it used to.
At the time, I did not understand why.
Later, I would learn that my hormones were completely out of balance. My cortisol was high. My estrogen was high. My testosterone was extremely low. And I was carrying more stress than I had ever recognized or understood.
That changed the way I saw everything.
I had always believed weight gain was mostly about food and effort.
Eat clean.
Work harder.
Do more cardio.
Push through.
But my body was already overwhelmed. It was not failing me out of laziness. It was trying to survive.
And somewhere in that process, I had to stop just trying harder and start thinking differently.
Sometimes the body is not failing. It is asking for help.
I believe a lot of people know exactly what that feels like.
Sometimes people are not lazy.
Sometimes they are not weak.
Sometimes they are not failing.
Sometimes their body is under so much pressure — from stress, poor sleep, hormone imbalance, emotional exhaustion, or all of it at once — that it simply cannot respond the way it used to.
That was me.
And that realization changed my life.
It also changed my mindset.
Because real change does not begin when we buy something, book something, or start another program.
Real change begins when something inside us says:
I am ready to see this differently.
I am ready to do this differently.
I am ready to believe something better is possible.
The search for a different answer.
I humbled myself, opened my laptop, and searched "fat camps."
What I found in the United States was a price tag that stopped most people before they ever started — thousands of dollars a day for programs I was not even sure addressed the root of what I was dealing with.
And like many people, I had also experienced the traditional answer: another appointment, another medication, another pill to try, and another attempt to manage the symptoms without always understanding the whole picture.
I am grateful for medicine. It has its place.
But I knew I needed to understand more than symptoms.
I needed to understand what my body was trying to tell me.
I also needed to believe that I was not stuck forever.
Whatever your faith is — faith in God, faith in something bigger, faith in the process, or even just faith in yourself — there has to be some belief that change is still possible.
That belief matters.
I looked at Costa Rica.
Nothing connected.
Then I found Thailand.
More specifically, I found Koh Samui — a small island known throughout the world for health, wellness, and whole-body healing.
Within two weeks of that search, I was on a plane.

Thailand changed everything.
I checked into a detox and wellness facility on the island.
The process was surprisingly simple.
Walking.
Herbs.
Fresh juices.
Soup.
Rest.
Slowing down.
No punishment.
No extreme workout program.
No complicated system designed to overwhelm me into results.
But there was something else happening too.
My mind was changing.
I was not there just to lose weight. I was there to listen, to learn, to slow down, and to finally stop fighting my body long enough to understand it.
For the first time in a long time, I stopped trying to force my body into submission and started giving it what it needed.
Wellness That Fits™
Within four days, my blood pressure was normal — something I had been fighting to lower for two years.
By day five, I had lost 23 pounds.
That was my first real:
WELLNESS THAT FITS™
moment.
For the first time, I understood that wellness does not always mean pushing harder, doing more, or forcing the body to respond.
Sometimes wellness means removing what is working against it.
Sometimes it means slowing down long enough for the body to finally have a chance.
Sometimes it means giving the body the kind of support it was designed to receive.
And sometimes it means changing your mind before your life can fully change.
The inside story matters.
While I was in Thailand, I also had blood work done.
For the first time, I could see what was happening inside my body. The results confirmed what I had begun to suspect: my hormones were out of balance, and my body had been under far more stress than I had ever given it credit for.
That understanding changed everything.
It helped me stop blaming myself and start asking better questions.
What does my body actually need?
What is working against me?
What would wellness look like if it fit my real life?
What would change if I stopped going through the motions and started believing I could actually get better?
Faith, belief, and gratitude.
That season strengthened my faith.
Not in a loud or preachy way. In a quiet, humbling way.
For me, it deepened my belief in God and helped me see how incredible the human body really is.
But I also understand that faith looks different for different people.
For some, faith is belief in God.
For others, it is belief in purpose.
For others, it is belief in the process.
For others, it starts as simply believing in yourself again.
Wherever it begins, belief matters.
Because you can go to a wellness retreat, a detox center, a "fat camp," a doctor, a coach, or a program and do well for a short time.
But it is mindset, faith, belief, and gratitude that help carry those improvements forward when real life begins again.
That became one of the biggest lessons for me.

Vitamin G.
One of the most important daily supplements I found was not in a bottle.
It was gratitude.
I call it Vitamin G.
Gratitude for the smallest things.
A walk.
A clear thought.
A better choice.
A normal blood pressure reading.
A moment of peace.
A body that is still trying.
Another chance to begin again.
When you start noticing the small things, something changes.
Gratitude does not make life perfect.
But it can change how you move through it.
And for me, gratitude became part of healing.
A longer stay than expected.
COVID hit while I was still on the island.
What was supposed to be a focused wellness reset turned into something longer and more unexpected. I stayed in Thailand through the pandemic, from 2019 through 2022.
During that time, I kept living differently.
Whole foods.
Walking.
Fasting.
Learning.
Resting.
Giving my body time.
Practicing gratitude.
Changing my mind.
By the time I left Thailand in 2022, I weighed 220 pounds.
My lowest weight was 210 pounds.
More than a number on the scale.
The weight mattered, but it was not the whole story.
I felt clearer.
I felt stronger.
I felt more alive.
I felt more connected.
I felt like myself again.
When your body starts to feel better, something shifts.
Your mind clears.
Your energy changes.
Your confidence comes back.
Your spirit feels lighter.
You start to feel awake again in a way that is hard to explain until you have experienced it.
And when you combine that physical change with belief, gratitude, and a new mindset, the change becomes deeper than a number.
The moment that named everything.
After returning home, I continued my own research.
This time, I began studying peptides and modern wellness tools more deeply. I wanted to understand what was available, what was responsible, and how different approaches could support the body when used thoughtfully.
Then one day, without thinking about it, I jumped out of the back of a truck.
No hesitation.
No calculation.
No bracing myself.
Just movement — easy, natural movement — the way it used to feel when I was young.
And I thought:
"Wow. I feel twenty again."
That was the moment.
Why TwentyAgain exists.
TwentyAgain was born from that feeling.
Not from a business plan.
Not from a trend.
Not from a desire to sell products.
It came from a moment of clarity.
The goal was never just to offer treatments. The goal was to help people find their own version of that moment.
To feel capable again.
Clear again.
Strong again.
Confident again.
Connected again.
Grateful again.
Hopeful again.
That is what TwentyAgain means.
What I believe now.
I believe the body has an incredible ability to respond when it is given the right support.
But that support looks different for every person.
For some, the path may begin with weight support.
For others, hormone health.
For others, peptide wellness, hair support, sexual wellness, or simply understanding what their body has been trying to tell them.
There is no one-size-fits-all path.
That is the whole point.
I also believe that lasting change requires more than tools.
It requires a decision.
A decision to stop going through the motions.
A decision to ask better questions.
A decision to believe that better is still possible.
Wellness That Fits™
Wellness That Fits™ means wellness built around you.
Your body.
Your goals.
Your schedule.
Your life.
Your belief.
Your readiness.
It should feel personal, not generic.
Private, not embarrassing.
Clear, not confusing.
Responsible, not reckless.
And it should meet you exactly where you are.

Change your mind. Change your life.
No medication, peptide, supplement, injection, program, or treatment can replace being ready to change.
Tools can help.
Guidance can help.
Provider review matters.
Treatment options matter.
Support matters.
But the first real shift often starts in the mind.
You can start a program and go through the motions.
Or you can start with the belief that your life can actually change.
That belief is different.
When you are ready to ask better questions, make better choices, practice gratitude, and take the next step, everything can begin to change.
Change your mind. Change your life.
This is personal. This is purposeful.
TwentyAgain is not just another wellness website.
It is built from real experience, genuine frustration, faith, belief, gratitude, years of research, and a sincere desire to help people take the first step without shame, pressure, or confusion.
Our mission is to make modern wellness easier to access through a process that is private, simple, provider-reviewed, and designed around real life.
But the deeper mission is to remind people that they are not done.
There is still a path.
There is still hope.
There is still a next step.
